We are looking for **a dynamic, experienced Technical Advisor
to help us implement high-quality technical programs. The Technical Advisor will serve as Deputy Chief of Party for the USAID-funded Integrated Social Marketing Project. With the support of the Country Representative, the Technical Advisor will be responsible for leading the implementation of the program and managing the projects programmatic and financial reporting.

You'll provide technical oversight across a diverse range of health areas with a special focus on family planning, malaria and child survival and ensure that our communication and marketing programs drive demand for our products and services. You'll focus solely on the USAID-funded Integrated Social Marketing Project. You'll be an integral part of the Senior Management Team that leads a fast-growing and complex country program.
KEY RESPONSIBILITIES

  • Serve as the Deputy Chief of Party for the USAID-funded Integrated Social Marketing Project
  • Assist in building, maintaining and strengthening donor and partner relations
  • Coordinate & deliver periodic project deliverables including quality narratives, work plans, and financial reports in line with USAID and PSI requirements
  • Provide technical support to ensure rigorous program design, monitoring and evaluation of ISM activities
  • Identify opportunities to further develop PSI Madagascar's interventions within ISM
  • Support the Programs & Field Operations departments in implementing annual work plans approved by USAID
  • Ensure thorough budget monitoring of ISM and WHP (by department);
  • Act as the platform's key liaison with the regional Marketing Advisor**What are we looking for?** Our needs**

  • 8+ years of public health experience;

  • Strong quantitative and financial skills;

  • Strong attention to details;

  • Master of the Microsoft Offices tools MSExcel, MSWord and MsPowerpoint;

  • DCOP or COP experience is a plus;

  • At least 3 years of experience in developing countries (experience in Francophone countries is a plus);

  • Masters degree in public health or related field;

  • Fluency in English and French;

  • Excellent interpersonal skills, including the ability to engage effectively with staff at all level;

  • Trained on USAID Rules and Regulations. Knowledge of USAID procurement rules is a plus.
