World Vision Senegal is an international NGO presents in Senegal since 1984 and is involved in the Transformational development, humanitarian emergencies and Advocacy. Our interventions will affect more than 08 million children living in areas categorized as the most vulnerable of the country in 2021. In Senegal, we are present in 06 regions (Fatick, Kaffrine, Kédougou, Tambacounda, Kolda and Diourbel) through integrated programs of a minimum of 15 years and special projects installed in 88 Local Authorities.

POSITION: AUDIT MANAGER

Localisation: National Office (Dakar) Number: 01 Type of Contract: Fixed-term full time contract (1-2 years), open-ended full time contract after 2 years if you got a good performance

Purpose of the position: To provide overall management to the Internal Audit Unit and providing an advisory and consultative role to the National Director, senior management team if necessary and the Board on risk assessment, internal control systems and their impact on the operations of the organization.

Major Responsabilités · Coordinate the development of audit plans for World Vision Senegal on risk assessments and ensure they are in line with Partnership standards. · Review and ensure timely preparation and submission of audit reports as per WV standards · Analyze audits reports and advise management on inherent risk. · Ensure that the audit programs and work practices in the department are in compliance with the Institute of Internal Auditors standards for the professional practice of internal auditing (SPPIA), (GAAS) the US government grant standards, WV financial manual, internal audit policies and procedures · Ensure that performance management is practiced within the department to enhance performance, smooth staff relations and accountability · Provide summaries of audit results and trends to Board Audit Committee · Coordinate audit assignments as required by GC Audit and Evaluation Department, special audits as requested by Senior Management Team or Regional office and support other external audit work prepare tri annual audit plan, execute and follow up · Build staff capacity on internal controls and risk management

Qualifications: Education/Knowledge/Technical Skills and Experience • Minimum Qualification required: Bachelor in Audit • Experience: 4 years including 3 years in Managerial level and Audit functions in audit firm (KPMG, Deloitte, etc) • Preferred: MBA in Audit • Technical Skills & Abilities: o Specialized computer skills. o Good planning and organisationnel skills o Ability to maintain effective working relationships with all levels of staff and donors o High level of confidence and confidentiality o Intermediary level in English and fluent in French
