The United States Peace Corps in Senegal seeks a Program and Training Assistant for Health based at the Peace Corps office in Dakar, Senegal**.** Under the supervision of the Director for the Health Program in Peace Corps Senegal, the Program and Training Assistant will provide on-going support to the implementation of the Health program in Senegal and conduct training activities for Health Peace Corps Volunteers.

BASIC FUNCTION OF POSITION:

The Health PTA supports the Associate Peace Corps Director in the planning, researching, managing and evaluating of the Health- program and assists in providing technical and administrative support to Peace Corps Volunteers and Trainees. The Health PTA also serves as the head technical trainer during Pre-Service and In-Service trainings (PST/IST), enabling training and programming to be fully integrated into the Health program.

RESPONSIBILITIES AND TASKS:

There are 5 major responsibilities for the PTA including: training, volunteer support, program support, program development and management, and representation.
