Senegal: Project Manager The Cash Learning Partnership (CaLP)

ACF is an international non-governmental, private, apolitical, non-religious and non-profit organization created in 1979. Its goal is to combat hunger and dangerous situations that threaten men, women and children. Currently 500 expats and more than 5,000 employees are working for ACF in more than forty-six countries working in projects concerning four areas of focus: nutrition, health, food security and water and sanitation.

GENERAL OBJECTIVES

Led by the Regional Focal Point (RFP), the regional team of CaLP in West Africa consists of 5 regionally based positions, two of which will be working specifically on this project; the other regional staff will contribute to this project, whilst also being engaged in other regional CaLP activities. Other CaLP staff from global team will contribute to the overall project or provide technical inputs on specific activities. The Project Manager will be based in the West Africa (WAF) CaLP Office in Dakar, with some travel to Sierra Leone, Liberia and other regions as requested under the grant.

OBJECTIFS SPÉCIFIQUE

1. Project Management

• Effectively project manage all CaLP activities under the grant, including multiple, concomitant commitments on strict timeframes.

• Ensure all project results are delivered on time and to budget

• Track financial aspects of the project

• Coordinate closely with internal global team and management and technical staff of CaLP partners and external stakeholders

2. Reporting

• Provide timely inputs to the CaLP monthly report within area of responsibility.

• Lead / provide inputs on project proposals and reports within area of responsibility.

• Monitor budget management and related financial follow up

3. Coordination with Regional team and technical support from the global team

• Ensure the experience and expertise of the regional and technical global team is used in the strategic development and implementation of all activities of the project.

• Provide technical support to CaLP staff within areas of specialisation

PROFIL DU CANDIDAT

· Ensure the experience and expertise of the regional and technical global team is used in the strategic development and implementation of all activities of the project.

· Provide technical support to CaLP staff within areas of specialization

· Relevant academic qualification in the field of international development, social/political science, or adult learning and development.

· Excellent project management, problem-solving and organisational skills

· Experience of humanitarian cash and voucher programming, preferably in crisis contexts

· Experience in organizing events.

· Demonstrable ability to articulate complex and sometimes competing ideas and experiences simply.

· Ability to work both in a team and independently.

· Excellent English communications skills – verbal, oral, written.

· Additional language skills; French would be a highly valuable asset.

· Experience in health crises

· Knowledge of CaLP and CaLP’s work

REMUNERATIVE PACKAGE

Nous proposons une incorporation immédiate à un Organisme dynamique d’envergure internationale incluant les conditions contractuelles suivantes :

• Salaire de 1700€ à 2200€ bruts par mois en fonction de l’expérience professionnelle et des responsabilités. Le système de rémunération d’ACF-Espagne permet une projection annuelle en fonction des résultats de l’évaluation de l'implication professionnelle.
• Base : Dakar
• Durée : 12 mois
• Jusqu'à un maximum de 20% additionnel en fonction du contexte et responsabilité du poste (selon barème fixé par ACF-E).
• Logement et nourriture pris en charge par l’organisation (incluant per diem) : package valorisé, selon le lieu de destination.
• Les frais de transport jusqu’à la mission.
• Breaks d’une semaine avec frais de transport vers la zone de référence et un extra de 215€ pour la semaine.
• 25 jours ouvrables de vacances par an.
• Assurance de santé, rapatriement, accident, voyage et vie.
• Prime enfant (moins de 18 ans) de 100€ à 225€ en fonction des conditions ACF-E.
